EMBRACING THE CREATIVE SOUL
Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. It sneaks in while you are keeping everything afloat.
That’s where we were—juggling work, family, responsibilities, and endless to-dos, while the spark inside us, the curiosity, play, and imagination that once made life feel alive, slowly dimmed.
It was in the weight of feeling buried, that we discovered something essential. Reconnecting with our creative selves wasn’t optional, it was our only lifeline. Creative presence became our way out. Noticing, imagining, and making space for play didn’t just feel good. It allowed life to breathe again.
Reclaiming this kind of creative presence in our modern moment hasn’t been easy and it definitely hasn’t always made practical sense. It’s been a reframing of beauty as luxury to beauty as a need - and that idea has changed our lives.
And so we created House on a Hill, where we help people reconnect with the parts of themselves that notice, imagine, and feel fully alive. We’re not just here for “artists.” We’re here for anyone ready to reclaim curiosity, presence, and the joy of living creatively in everyday life.
